Egghead Computer Solutions is committed to offering you the highest level of customer service and egg-spertise. Our rates are $95/hr. for residential clients, $105/hr. for small businesses, billed in 15 minute increments (1/2 hr. min.), during business hours from 8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday thru Friday. Evening and weekend hours are available by appointment.
Remote Support
If you need your computer repaired quickly, you
can call our office and have your system accessed by
remote support. Simply put, remote support is a means
for troubleshooting software and some hardware-related
problems over an Internet
connection. Once a session is established, we will be
able to take control of your computer and
attempt to resolve your issue. Although this type of
support won’t be of much assistance in diagnosing failing
hardware, or problems involving Internet
access, it is ideal for fixing program errors, adjusting
settings, and helping customers perform simple tasks.
The most common repairs available through online
computer support are virus and malware removal, system
optimization, Windows registry repair, device driver
issues, Web related issues, and Windows security
updates. A computer with a defective hardware component,
such as a hard drive, can be
diagnosed in some cases but must be repaired in person.

Egghead Computer Solutions provides service
for all major brands of Windows desktops and laptops,
such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo, as well as "white box"
systems. We can fix just about any problem, but before
we do, we'll make sure it's practical to do so with
a thorough no-cost assessment in order to accurately
diagnose the cause of the issue you are experiencing.
Based on the assessment, we will provide you with
pricing and options as to the best course of action, whether it be a
simple part replacement or the purchase of a brand new
system.
System Upgrades
In most cases, upgrading your hardware is the most cost effective way to increase the
speed, performance, and productivity of your laptop or
desktop computer. A good rule of thumb is that upgrades
should typically be done if the cost(s) will be
less than half of the cost of getting a new system,
and will extend the functional lifespan by roughly half
of what a complete replacement will get you. With this
in mind, you can breathe new life into an older
system with
just a couple of key upgrades by adding memory and/or
replacing the existing hard drive with a solid state
drive (SSD). Additional devices that we
can install or upgrade include: network interface cards,
